Jade

PE Lead
Nutrition & Wellbeing Mentor

Jade has a Level 2 qualification in health and wellbeing and is a qualified Level 2 Gym Instructor currently working towards her Child Fitness Instructor qualification, which is on track to be completed within the next few months. Jade feels that in today’s society, children are being exposed to so many negativities, whether it be the news, social media and/or the internet, therefore she believes that it is vital for children to learn how to look after their physical and mental wellbeing whilst they are young, using tools and coping mechanisms, that they can take them through their childhood and into adulthood.

At Liberty in the Wild, Jade aims to help them incorporate physical exercise into their daily lives, making it fun but also learning about how this helps our mind and body to feel better! She also believes that we can show our children how healthy eating works alongside this, trying new ingredients – learning about where the food comes from, teaching them how to make healthy snacks and meals, that they enjoy and can share with their family and friends.

“I am keen to continue learning and developing as a practitioner and mentor to help me further my skills. However as a mum of 4, with children aged between 7 and 18, this has helped me learn more than any qualification could, in regards to what is important in helping children learn and how to look after their mental and physical wellbeing. So combined with continued CPD I am confident I will support the children to be the best they can be.”
