Jade

Specialist Learning Mentor
Fitness & Nutrition

Jade brings a strong passion for health, wellbeing and physical development, supported by her Level 2 qualification in Health and Wellbeing and her Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification. She is currently working towards her Child Fitness Instructor qualification, further developing her ability to support young people’s physical and emotional wellbeing.

Jade is deeply committed to helping children understand the importance of looking after both their physical and mental health from a young age. She recognises the challenges young people face in today’s world and is passionate about equipping them with practical tools, coping strategies and positive habits that will support them throughout their lives.

As Wellbeing & Physical Development Lead and a Specialist Learning Mentor, Jade uses a hands-on, engaging approach to support young people in building confidence, resilience and self-awareness. She incorporates physical activity, movement and enrichment into daily learning, making it both enjoyable and meaningful.

Jade also promotes healthy lifestyles through nutrition education, encouraging young people to explore where food comes from, try new ingredients and develop the skills to prepare simple, healthy meals they can share with others. Her approach helps young people to build positive relationships with their health, wellbeing and overall lifestyle.

“I am keen to continue learning and developing as a practitioner and mentor to help me further my skills. However as a mum of 4, with children aged between 7 and 18, this has helped me learn more than any qualification could, in regards to what is important in helping children learn and how to look after their mental and physical wellbeing. So combined with continued CPD I am confident I will support the children to be the best they can be.”

She is currently completing her Advanced Level 3 in Supporting Children and Young People’s Speech, Language and Communication, further strengthening her expertise in this area.

As a Specialist Learning Mentor, Caroline works closely with young people to support communication, emotional understanding and engagement in learning. She is highly creative in her approach, using arts-based and enrichment activities to build confidence, encourage self-expression and make learning meaningful and accessible for every child.

Caroline is passionate about ensuring that each young person is supported in a way that works for them, recognising that all behaviour is a form of communication. She is dedicated to helping young people develop the skills to express themselves, regulate their emotions and thrive within a safe, nurturing environment.
